Freedom of Information
The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 et. seq.) requires that all muncipalities and other public agencies, such as the Village of Goreville, make readily available a directory of public records maintained within an organization, the methods by which to request records, to include designating public information officials.
Freedom of Information Request
Written requests will be accepted at the Village Hall from 8:00 am through 12:00 pm Monday through Friday. Requests may be mailed to the Village Hall, c/o Police Chief or Village Clerk (as appropriate), P.O. Box 16 Goreville, IL. 62939
