The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is celebrating the 75th birthday for Ferne Clyffe State Park on September 21st. One of several activities will include an Art Contest sponsored by the Village of Goreville. After all, “Goreville is the Home of Ferne Clyffe.”
This contest is open to Goreville Grade and High School students.
The THEME for artwork submission is: Ferne Clyffe State Park. Artwork can be painting, photography or drawing.
There are 3 divisions with a top award going to each division . The Best of Show will also be awarded.
Group one: Grade School. Group two: Junior High. Group three: High School
Submit your artwork to Jennifer Ingram at the Goreville High School, no later than September 18th.
